What purpose does the least attractive female in the group serve? Clearly, given the Mt. Everest of evidence we have of the hypersensitivity Women have to their own and other Womens’ physical attractiveness, WHY does this situation persist? I argue, it is to act as a buffer. The least attractive female has the unfortunate duty of either blowing up the spot outright – Scorched Earth – in the event that a suitor gunning for the better-heeled ladies in the group either fails and/or is otherwise unattractive to said better-heeled ladies – or – in the case we’re discussing right now – can be used “preemptively” in order to keep said suitor from approaching anyone else. In the case of my own family/friends, I come from a largely female dominated house. And as such, they had many girlfriends – very few of whom were attractive, which is notable, since all three of my sisters were considered quite attractive (one of whom was a fashion model at a fairly high level, with John Casablancas and did photo shoots overseas/internationally, before marrying and having children of her own – among them my twin nieces). Aside from the fact that I live by the maxim of a dog never sh*tting where he has to eat, the fact that they ladies they tried to insinuate into my life were dog-ugly, really upset me. This has happened quite a few times, to the point that I made it a point to be around them as little as possible, which continues to this day. O.
